2. Description of Service

ToolTanks provides online file conversion services, including but not limited to converting images to WEBP format and videos to WEBM format. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use ToolTanks to:

• Upload, process, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent our rate limits or security measures
• Use automated tools to overload our servers
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Process content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination

4. File Ownership & Rights

You retain full ownership of all files you upload to ToolTanks. By uploading files, you grant ToolTanks a temporary, limited license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service. We do not claim any ownership rights over your files.

5. Free Plan Limitations

The free plan is subject to the following limitations: maximum file sizes as specified on our Pricing page, daily conversion limits, and processing queue priority. These limits may change at any time.

6. Paid Plans & Billing

For paid (Pro and Unlimited) plans:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payments are processed by secure third-party gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal)
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are provided at our discretion within 7 days of purchase
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ToolTanks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that files will be available for any specific duration after processing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolTanks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

The ToolTanks brand, logo, design, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of ToolTanks without our written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to ToolTanks at any time, for any reason, without notice, particularly if we believe you are in violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
